My love of radio started at a young age. Growing up in the hallways of local Long Island radio station WGLI where my parents worked. My earliest and fondest memories all involve me in that small radio station in Babylon. As a kid I would bring my record player underneath the dining room table and talk up my Beach Boys records over and over until my parents just could not stand to hear it anymore. Around 10 my father bought me a little part 15 transmitter kit and I launched a radio station in my bedroom playing oldies for the handful of neighbors that cared to listen. As the internet progressed Dan was part of one of the first online radio stations (metroradio.com) as a DJ in his young teen years. After going off to college he joined the NYIT radio station and quickly rose through the ranks to president and GM. One of his proudest moments was going in front of the board of the school to successfully pitch bringing the radio station into the 21st century by rebuilding the studios and launching an online stream. After college Dan bounced around to a few local AM stations and to Business talk radio network. Since that time Dan has worked freelance as a producer and voice over talent and has hosted and produced numerous podcasts and featurettes which were syndicated by PRX.
When Dan is not on the air or in his studio editing and producing he is also an avid maker who enjoys dabbling in electronic circuitry, laser cutting, cnc, 3D printing and woodwork. Some items made by Dan are available in his online store.
